The second edition of the Global Event Summit will take place on 6-8th September 2010 at the Grove, Herts, UK. Building on the substantial success of the launch Summit, the 2010 event will again provide top level content, networking and global case studies. The high level delegates from the world's leading event organiser companies and venues will share insider knowledge and astute understanding on how events can maximise the latest digital technologies. Stephen Brooks will once again chair the Summit and, participation will be restricted to a limited number of organiser and venue CEO’s / board level personnel. The amazing and exclusive line-up of speakers will include Reed’s Nick Forster, Dr Andreas Gruchow of Messe Hannover, Eric Everard of Artexis/Easyfairs, ex Head of ITE Group and Expomedia Mark Shashoua, Brendan Kelly of Allworld Exhibitions, Amsterdam RAI’s Theo Lingmont and Russell Taylor of ITE Group. The ‘Territory Talk’ sessions will cover Germany, China, The Gulf region, Brazil & Mexico, Poland/Hungary/Czech Republic and the Nordic countries. Two special presentations will feature Denzil Rankine of AMR International and Event Futurologist Rohit Talwar. The former will present his view on the Global Exhibition Organising Market and cover: key country market data and trends, outlook for growth across the globe and give us a spotlight on M&A and partnerships. The latter will stimulate countless braincells with his insightful look at the global economy and its effect on the events industry over the next 10, 20 even 30 years. The Summit will again feature interviews, this time with twice the value – there will be two speakers on the platform at each interview session giving their perspective on the key industry issues. The Summit will close with another look at the financial/investment/acquisition marketplace as it affects our industry with input from the private equity sector, a City of London analyst and a senior economist. |
